Angela focuses her personal and professional time on supporting people, communities, and places. Angela's former career in human resources spanned staffing, consulting, coaching, generalist, and corporate executive leadership roles. Angela stepped back from her role as an HR executive to begin a deliberate transition towards Placemaking research. Angela holds a BS in Speech Communication from Syracuse University, a MA in Organizational Behavior from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a MA in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University, and a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University.
In her personal time, Angela enjoys volunteering locally with organizations that focus on community participation, reciprocity, and creating local change. She also loves to spend time with her husband and beagle, her neighbors, and all the other neighborhood animals!
